Q: What can I do to reduce the chances of an unexpected breakdown?

Q: What are your hours?
A: Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Q: Where are you located?
A: You can click here for a map to our shop. We are located three blocks north of Foothills Blvd, on Nevada St.

Q: What brand of parts do you use?
A: We use AC-Delco parts when they are available for a specific car. AC-Delco parts meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (O.E.M.) specifications.

Q: Where do I park when dropping off my car? A: Please park in any open stall on our lot.

Q: Can you tow my car?
A: We can make arrangements to have your car towed to our shop.

Q: Do you have a drop box for keys?
A: We have an after hours drop box available. Please be sure to lock your vehicle and take all personal valuables out of your vehicle including your garage door opener.

Q: How long will repairs take?
A: That depends on the service(s) being performed. We can usually give a fairly accurate estimate of the time needed to effect repairs and we will call you when the repairs are completed.

Q: Can you give me a ride?
A: We would be happy to give you a ride, in the general vicinity - approximately a 10 mile radius from our shop. Please arrange in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Q: Do you have rental cars?
A: We can arrange rental car service.

Q: What is your warranty?
A: We offer a nationwide written one year/12,000 mile warranty on parts. The Martin Motors' warranty (bring your car to our shop) is 24 months/24,000 miles.

Q: What methods of payment are acceptable? A: Your personal check up to $1000.00, VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express or cash.

Q: Can you deliver my car?
A: We can assist you within our general vicinity - approximately a 10 mile radius from our shop. Please make advance arrangements for delivery. For a fee, your car can be towed to you.

Working on a car in the shop.Q: I know that some vehicles require special tools to do adjustments, do you have them?
A: Yes we do. Martin Motors has invested $1000s of dollars in the proper tools and up-to-date test equipment in order to assure that each vehicle is assessed and serviced properly.

Q: How often should I have my vehicle's oil changed?
A: Most manufacturers recommend changing your oil and filter every 3000 miles or three months if you are using mineral based oils like: Chevron, Castrol, Valvoline or Quaker State. If you are using full synthetic oils for your oil changes, then you can extend the mileage to every 7000 miles. You should be prepared to pay a little more for the high quality of the oil. We can recommend an oil for your car, or you can specify which brand you prefer.

Q: What are synthetic/synthetic blend oils, and what are the advantages of using them?
A: Synthetic and synthetic blend oils are a superior lubrication product that has passed the newest and highest stringent ILSAC standard. These oils are more stable under high stress driving conditions which leads to numerous benefits:
• Improved fuel economy. (Reducing friction inside the engine)
• Contributes to the reduction of harmful emissions
• Better low temperature performance (Less fiction, less heat build up)
• Improved deposit protection (Less build up of harmful deposits)

Q: Do I have to take my vehicle to the dealership for regularly scheduled maintenance?
A: No. Your new or used car extended warranty contract can be applied to any independent certified repair facility. Our certified technicians can service or repair your car or truck to factory specifications. You can save time and money, and have personalized service at Martin Motors… there is no reason to settle for less.

Q: Will I be given a warranty on the services/repairs done on my vehicle?
A: Certainly. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and the high quality, manufacture approved, parts we use, we know that sometimes parts go bad and for this reason we offer a solid nation-wide warranty of 12,000 miles or 12 months. Martin Motors' in-shop warranty is for 24 months or 24,000 miles.
